Key Performance Features
Reliable, 24/7 power:
Designed to deliver reliable power with minimal unplanned downtime. Reliable power comes from our specially designed supercritical CO2 turboexpander by Baker Hughes. This turboexpander has been rigorously designed and being tested to meet the reliability standards expected from baseload power plants.
Ramp on demand:
Designed to achieve ramp rates of 15% per minute, which makes the Net Power utility scale plant the ideal load-following solution for grid applications.
Clean Power, 100% of the time:
The Net Power Cycle inherently isolates and removes the carbon dioxide during baseload AND load-following modes, ensuring ultra-low carbon intensity all the time. The plant emits no NOx, SOx or other criteria air pollutants.
Oxygen-based Energy Storage:
Capable of providing up to 60 MW of additional on-demand generation capacity with our proprietary oxygen-based battery. A day’s worth of onsite oxygen storage can provide 1.4 GWh of on-demand energy storage, ready to dispatch when needed. Recharging the oxygen-based battery is easy: simply refill the oxygen storage using the onsite air separation unit.
Utility Scale Plant – Designed to Scale

Design Once, Build Many:
The first thermal power plant with a completely standardized and integrated design from energy input to power output. Dedicated supply chain for key plant components, and standardization means shorter FEED studies and faster times from FID to COD.

Fleet Configurations:
Standardized and compact design supports modular configurations 8 plants (2GW) or more from a single site.

Site Scalable:
Can be deployed in phases, staged over time, enabling generation capacity to scale up with planned load growth.
